Chateaugay 8 - M-W 0: Avery McDonald struck out 11 in a four-hit shutout as the Bulldogs stayed unbeaten atop the NAC East Division. Johnson also doubled in a winning offense led by Ali Johnston with a single and a double and Mary McComb with a double.
Kendall Thompson, Bailee Skinner, Erica Bates and Grace Mayette singled for M-W.
GOLF
CANTON — Friday’s NAC triangular golf match at the Partridge Run Golf and Country Club produced some fine rounds,
Salmon River (204) underscored host Madrid-Waddington (243) and Gouverneur (240) led by the trio of Michael Lazore, Bronson Bero and Carter Johnson who all fired rounds of 39.
Gouvereur’s Raine Rumble tallied a medalist 39 and Kyle Murphy led M-W with a 41.
